Terms & Conditions
Terms for individually quoted 3D-printing and basic CAD services.
1. Provider and scope

Switzerland
E-mail: contact@formorix.com
These terms apply to individually quoted 3D-printing and basic CAD services offered under the name FORMORIX, unless expressly agreed otherwise. Mandatory statutory rights, including applicable consumer protections, remain unaffected.
2. Enquiries, quotations and contract formation
Website descriptions and price examples are not binding offers. Sending an e-mail or enquiry does not create a paid order. FORMORIX assesses the project and may issue a quotation describing the work, estimated costs, time, payment method and delivery arrangements. A binding order only exists after you accept the quotation and FORMORIX expressly confirms the order.
3. Customer designs and CAD support
You must have the necessary rights to use, adapt and reproduce all submitted models, drawings, files and trademarks. We may use your documents only to evaluate feasibility, prepare a quotation and carry out the agreed manufacturing work. Files will not be published or shared with other customers without separate permission. Requests may be declined if legal rights, permitted use or product safety are unclear.
CAD work based on hand drawings, photographs or existing models requires sufficiently accurate dimensions and a separately agreed scope, including any revisions.
4. Manufacturing and technical limits
We currently manufacture using FDM/FFF printing. The K1 Max has a nominal 300 × 300 × 300 mm build volume; actual usable dimensions depend on geometry, material and orientation. The order confirmation specifies the agreed material, colour, quantity, surface finish, critical dimensions, tolerances and any finishing operations.
FDM-printed parts may have visible layers and direction-dependent properties. High operating temperatures, sustained loads, UV exposure and weathering must be evaluated before production. We do not currently provide certified manufacturing for medical, regulated or safety-critical uses.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
Our published introductory examples use CHF 5 per estimated printing hour, plus the agreed material charge, a CHF 5 order preparation fee and CHF 15 per hour for simple CAD work. The individual confirmed quotation determines the actual total price in CHF, including any applicable taxes, additional services, packaging and shipping charges.
Bank transfer and PayPal may be available by agreement. The quotation confirms available payment methods and due dates. This website does not charge you automatically.
6. Production schedule and international delivery
For small orders, approximately one week may serve as a non-binding planning estimate. Actual production or delivery dates are confirmed individually. Material procurement, complex geometry and additional questions can affect lead time.
We welcome project enquiries worldwide. However, delivery to a specific country will only be agreed after feasibility and regulatory checks. Shipping charges, import restrictions, customs duties and import taxes are clarified as far as possible before contract formation, and the quotation will allocate the agreed responsibilities. Applicable product safety, labelling and customs requirements remain mandatory.
7. Inspections and complaints
Please check delivered parts reasonably promptly and report visible defects or transit damage to contact@formorix.com, preferably with photographs and your order reference. This request does not shorten or exclude your mandatory statutory rights concerning defects or conformity.
8. Cancellation, returns and withdrawal rights
An enquiry may be withdrawn before the order has been expressly confirmed. Once a contract exists, cancellation may be arranged subject to mandatory law and any legitimate costs already incurred for agreed work.
Swiss law does not generally provide a statutory cooling-off period for ordinary internet purchases. Where mandatory consumer withdrawal rights apply in another country, particularly within the EU/EEA, they are respected. Goods made to an individual's specifications or clearly personalised may qualify for a legal exception, but an exception is not assumed for every 3D-printed item. Applicable rights and any justified exceptions must be explained for the particular order before contract formation.
9. Safety and liability
The intended application and critical requirements should be discussed before ordering. Unless expressly agreed and provided, our products are not supplied with safety certification or independently verified fitness for a regulated application. Liability is governed by applicable mandatory law; nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
10. Applicable law and consumer protections
Swiss law applies to the extent permitted by applicable conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of habitual residence remain unaffected where applicable. These terms do not restrict mandatory jurisdiction rules.
11. Contact and languages
For enquiries, complaints and statutory rights, write to contact@formorix.com. These terms are available in English and German; the individual contract and mandatory law govern in the event of any inconsistency.
